  To many bus people cashiers more interested in playing lottery or chatting with other cashiers. Manager doesn't seem to care and when you go to coffee bar it always empty and nasty dirty no milk or cups and floor is disgusting shoe stick to floor after bus person spills soda nobody clean it up

  T/A BLOOMSBURY NJ CLOSED, RE-OPENED AS A BUS STOP - Well that should be the headline here... AM 12/2/16 After a 2 day run went in to get a shower... Surprised to find a waiting line early Friday morn.. Soon I discovered why... Yes, T/A is now providing shower services for Bus Passengers... At least 25 women and children wee bunched up in the hallway... making it totally impassable to navigate the hallway..Half of them actually pulling full suitcases, and various other attachments... Looking more like a day at the beach than a Truck Stop.. or its new role as Bus stop even... Of course guess it does not matter when their are no showers.. Finally I popped on the list... and got in the shower... place sounded like a bar on Saturday night with the hall full of people.. Listen to your radio? Not possible.. I would say that my shower was clean.. G.d bless the gentleman who does the morning showers... Most of us could not handle it.. I would honestly add.. he is actually the only courteous, professional I have met at this T/A.. I would suggest replacing the morning manager with this professional... After 2 minutes with the manager discussing the low priority we drivers now take in the hierarchy I gave up... Maybe he did not like my suggestion that TA decide if they wanted to be a truck stop or a bus station/YMCA... I am sure he would prefer the YMCA but you will have to guess the meaning of that comment as this is the family channel...

  So next I try the the Burger King... just wanting to grab something quick and hit the bunk... Huum.. wait oh no it is the Bus People.. with their luggage? Oh yes of course... With the shower waits and now this my 34 is fading fast.. Besides TA Burger prices, well I can only figure that they want to keep them burgers and fries for themselves.. So time to try the restaurant.. I check out the buffet... Agh good no Bus People.... Only the noise from Burger King.. must be upset about the prices of their primary food group.. Oh no.. looks like the bus people may have attacked the buffet.. or the hogs were let in early today... No way I am eating that mess... Still.. I must be brave.. and order.. The waitress... I use that term very lightly... automaton would be a better description.. except she only went into that mode with me.. Everybody else she took plates away, checked to see if they needed anything.. etc etc etc.. BUT I did hear other drivers complaining that meals were slow.. Finally becoming some amazed at this.. being skipped over so often.. addressing the tables both in front and behind me.. Yes is true.. That I asked her out right being the curious native boy I am.. Do you have a problem with me... being as you have provided no services to me? She said no I am just covering 2 shifts.. Wow... I think most would see that as an opportunity but not this one... But then again.. it does not explain why only me.. Could it be that I am native american with Long hair? Oh no surely not..
  
  To show that I am fair... The food was excellent.. pancakes, eggs and bacon..
  
  The rest of the staff.... If any of them smiled or treated drivers with the least bit of courtesy hell surely would freeze over... except our little buddy cleaning showers..
  
  SO Drivers.. we have a choice to do something about this situation... admittedly the buss situation is not as bad as Laredo.. but drivers forced changes there... It was so bad with 2 to 4 buses there at any one time that it was a genuine health hazard with feces on the floor.. I know you drivers remember it... Today here their were times when their were 4 buses... Driver services were non existent..
  
  JOIN ME IN BOYCOTTING THIS T/A UNTIL IMPROVEMENTS ARE MADE.. BUS TRAFFIC IS REDUCED AND THE MORNING MANAGER IS REPLACED.. Pass the word... T/A and Petro often bander that they are Full Service Truckstops... Things have changed... Boycott truck stops (This One) who display a lack of concern and respect for drivers... Help your fellow drivers make a change.. Time for all of us to stand up and stop being complacent about the abuses and disrespect

  An extremely busy TA. Very tight parking, lot jammed, trucks parked everywhere, fuel islands all backed up. Drove out and parked on a nearby on ramp. This TA needs to be 3-4 times its current size. I know that's not practical, but unless your in here by mid afternoon, you should probably forget parking here.

  Probably the cleanest showers in TA (not including Petros) system. Good restaurant (same menu though) and staff. Parking is always a challenge here and probably always will be. Store staff can be dismissive, but that's because all everyone does is whine about things that they can't change. Take the parking and shop issues up with TA corporate (they'll ignore you too), or learn to deal with life as we've let it become. Good stop if you can get parked.
